Shuffle Tactics

Shuffle Tactics is a tactical RPG, enriched with mechanics borrowed from card games and the roguelike genre. The game was developed by the independent French studio Club Sandwich. The main sources of inspiration for its creators were primarily the games Slay the Spire.

Gameplay

In Shuffle Tactics the action is shown in an isometric view.

Turn-based combat

The main element of the gameplay are turn-based skirmishes with opponents. Battles take place in arenas covered with a grid of square fields. We lead heroes chosen by us and their assistants.

Cards, heroes and their abilities

Each of the heroes has an individual set of skills and strong and weak points. The same applies to their companions, among whom we will find a scout, a necromancer, or an assassin. They are reflected in decks of cards associated with specific attacks and abilities that we play during combat. The key to success is therefore not only the proper positioning of units on the battlefield, but also composing such a set of cards, the individual elements of which will complement each other.
